Zoom Integration

How to add, use, and remove the MeetingPrep integration for Zoom.

Overview

MeetingPrep is an AI-powered briefing platform that automatically prepares you for upcoming meetings. Connecting Zoom lets MeetingPrep recognize your Zoom meetings and include relevant context in the briefing it prepares for you before each meeting. The integration is read-only and is used solely to build your personal briefings.

Adding the integration

To connect Zoom to MeetingPrep:

  1. Sign in to your MeetingPrep account and open your dashboard.
  2. Go to the connections area and select Connect Zoom.
  3. You’ll be redirected to Zoom and asked to sign in and authorize MeetingPrep. Review the requested permissions and approve them.
  4. After authorizing, you’ll be returned to MeetingPrep, where Zoom will now show as connected.

Authorization uses Zoom’s secure OAuth flow — MeetingPrep never sees or stores your Zoom password.

Using the integration

Once Zoom is connected, there’s nothing else to set up. MeetingPrep works in the background: ahead of your meetings, it assembles a concise briefing and uses your connected Zoom information to better identify and contextualize your Zoom meetings. Briefings are delivered to you automatically — no manual steps are required before each meeting.

Removing the integration

You can remove the Zoom connection at any time, using either method below:

From MeetingPrep

  1. Open your MeetingPrep dashboard and go to the connections area.
  2. Find Zoom and select Disconnect. This revokes MeetingPrep’s access and stops any further use of your Zoom data.

From the Zoom App Marketplace

  1. Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
  2. Click ManageAdded Apps, or search for the MeetingPrep app.
  3. Click the MeetingPrep app, then click Remove.

Removing the integration revokes MeetingPrep’s access to your Zoom account. To delete the data MeetingPrep has already stored, use the account or data deletion options in your dashboard settings, or email us at support@meetingprep.ca.
